My trek to Cowichan Bay, and my two swans.

I had the pleasure of walking around Cowichan Bay over the Christmas break and I quite enjoy finding things that catch my eye to photograph. I did find my red shoe again! But in a different spot. Hmm, may have to post that picture too.

I quite enjoyed my two little friends, the swans, and happily sat on  the dock and observed them swimming around in front of me. Not too close, guess they remembered my big telephoto lens. Well, my telephoto was tucked away and I happily captured a moment in time with the swans.

Life has been busy

Busy busy and I haven't been able to post on my blog, but have been busy out and about taking photos. Here's one to share! Taken in Cowichan Bay, Victoria Island , my favorite place to be.

Cowichan Bay, Vancouver Island

A little jaunt to my favorite seashore spot, Cowichan Bay and I always find something to shoot with my camera. Hmm, can you guess where this is there ? What store? The red shoe reminds me of my Mother and I know she would love this picture!

Elegance

 




















On my jaunt down to Cowichan Bay, my favorite place to hang out with my camera, I spied two Swans floating elegantly around by the land houses. Ahh, snapping on my telephoto lens, I quickly made my way down the ramp to the dock, sneaking around the float homes, I quietly made my way as close as I could to the two of them. Patient is a virtue and I took lots of shots of them floating back and forth, actually, this picture was taken just before the swan got pissed off at me and hissed!
