Can I do it?
Monday, a windy rainy day in Royston. Well, today I am off to college and will attempt to develop my 2nd roll of B& W 120mm film myself! Can I do it in the dark???? For sure! What a hoot! I can't wait!
More pics to come, the black and white ones I will have to scan in, so hopefully you will see some on here!
Have a great Monday!

A jaunt to a Junkyard!
One the first assignments was to go to a junk yard , camera and tripod in hand. I had to photograph one car only, professor appointed, using only my tripod for half a hour. A lesson in slowing down and seeing things. Here is a sample of those pictures.
A old studebaker, the old rusty car, but the still shiny trunk latch! |
The glass has such wonderful patterns in it, the true nature of glass that it is always moving. |
The old emblem and new leaf, not put there by me but just drifted down on the car . |
Poignant! |
I think if you look close you will see me with my camera ! |
So much chrome in those days! |
The seat gives up its structure to time. |
Love the lights! |
Still proud amongst the rust of time. |
They sure made license plates to last didn't they! I hope you enjoy and leave comments! |
Mount Washington, Prairie Meadows Photo Shoot.
Wispy clouds |
The forest |
I actually captured this little bird with my lens! |
Prairie Meadows and Mount Washington Ski slopes in the background. |
Prairie Meadows , a beautiful little pond |
My favorite picture of the trees reflected in the water! |
Is the knot holding the wood in place???? |
Mount Washington in the background |
Look Closely and see what I saw, there is more here than just the wood! |
A little butterfly landed on the flower ! |

Mount Washington, Prairie Meadow shoot. Texture!
Mount Washington , Prairie Meadow Shoot, Lol a pregnant tree! Okay then, a example of curved lines!
Busy in college doing photography course, nothing like learning to shoot professionally! Taking things down to the clearest form of photography, it is awesome! Close tight shots of form, texture, etc that exist in photography. Hope you enjoy this little taste!
